Victor Abbey Blessed (born 8 May 2001), known professionally as VaB, is a multifaceted Nigerian singer, song writer, and record producer, with a degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering from Rivers State University.
The young star hails from Degema, Rivers State, Nigeria and has opined that his dream is to excel in all that the global music space can provide. He’s surely determined to WIN.
He currently resides in Port Harcourt.
Afrobeats is his genre of music.
As a creator, VaB has worked with many new acts in the city of Port Harcourt and has been influential in creating the current new sound vibes from the Garden city.
A few of his early musical influences are Fela, Mali Music, Timaya and Wizkid.
According to Vab, “Basically. I get most of my influences from the church and the streets.” Molding a sound peculiar in a space as uneven as the AfroBeats space is no mean feat; but VaB has come through with a style that’s captivating. His melodies will definitely STICK when you listen. His stories come to life.
